Showroom Sales Consultant Float (Multi-Location)

Waterware Showrooms is seeking a Showroom Sales Consultant Float to support multiple showroom locations throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with customers across several luxury showroom environments.

Position Purpose:

Provide exceptional customer service and sales support across multiple Waterware Showroom / Plimpton & Hills locations. This role serves as a floating showroom sales resource, traveling between assigned showrooms to assist customers with kitchen and bath design, remodeling, and product selection projects. Develop and maintain extensive product knowledge while partnering with homeowners, builders, designers, architects, plumbers, and contractors to drive sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Travel Requirement: This position requires regular travel between assigned showroom locations, including Torrington, CT, Farmington, CT, Great Barrington, MA, and Wappingers Falls, NY. 

Essential Functions: 

• Serve as a floating showroom sales resource, supporting multiple branch locations as needed
• Guide homeowners through bathroom and kitchen renovation projects, including design assistance, product selection, and purchasing
• Work collaboratively with designers, architects, builders, plumbers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Assess customer needs and identify opportunities for additional sales through related product recommendations
• Proactively seek new customer opportunities and introduce products and services that best match customer requirements
• Maintain and continuously expand product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service across locations
• Determine product pricing in accordance with company procedures and address questions regarding availability
• Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists and structures
• Educate customers on product features and benefits
• Stay informed on new products, pricing updates, and discontinued items
• Ensure showrooms remain clean, organized, and visually appealing to support sales efforts
• Verify that product catalogs and showroom materials are current at all assigned locations
• Apply active listening skills to fully understand customer needs and enhance the overall purchasing experience
• Meet and exceed established sales goals and performance objectives across assigned branches
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience, Education & Skills:

• Sales experience in kitchen, bath, and/or design required
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of industry trends and products
• Results-driven with a strong customer-service focus
• High School diploma required; Associate’s degree in design preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required 
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between assigned showroom locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
• Must have close vision abilities due to computer-based work
• Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or negligible force continuously
