Job Title: Showroom Sales Executive
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Our client, a leading supplier of premium plumbing systems, sanitaryware, architectural hardware, and building solutions, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to join its team. The company serves developers, contractors, architects, interior designers, and homeowners through its modern showrooms and extensive product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome customers to the showroom and provide professional product demonstrations and recommendations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable plumbing, sanitaryware, bathroom, and architectural hardware solutions.
• Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with walk-in customers, contractors, architects, and interior designers.
• Achieve individual sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensure the showroom is well merchandised, organized, and visually appealing.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate customer records and prepare daily and weekly sales reports.
• Stay updated on product features, pricing, and market trends.
Requirements
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Interior Design, Construction, or a related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in showroom sales, retail sales, or customer-facing sales within building materials, sanitaryware, tiles, plumbing, hardware, home improvement, interiors, or related industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or POS system experience is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, well-presented, and target-driven.
