Position Summary

The Driver position delivers parts or drives a customer to or from their work or home while their vehicle is in the shop as a courtesy service. You may also drop off a passenger at another destination of their choosing. You act as the ambassador of the dealership.

Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Greets individuals and assists them as necessary

• Works with the dispatcher to stay on schedule and respond to changes in your route

• Keeps a log of trips

• Alerts the automotive department of repairs or maintenance for the shuttle vehicle

• Follows all traffic laws and company policies

• Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of the area around the dealership

• Proficiency with GPS technology

• Professional appearance as the customer-facing representative of the dealership

• Excellent interpersonal skills

Education and Experience
• Valid state-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record mandatory
• Completion of a defensive driving course
