JOB SUMMARY

Transports clients between pick-up and delivery locations. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision, and values.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Safely transport clients between pick-up and delivery locations.
• Maintain daily transportation log.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any issues to supervisor.
• Embody the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision, and values:
• Perform other related duties as required or requested.
• Program responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Reports to work routinely and timely; if unable to report to work, or if there is a need to come to work late or leave early, follow Vista Care’s approval policy.
• Complete required, on-going training requirements and competency levels within Vista Care and State/County required timeframes.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Safe CDL Driving
• Reliability

• Graduation from High School, or equivalency, is required.
• Must possess valid Illinois CDL driver’s license (or the ability to get one) and be deemed an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy.
• Previous experience in client transportation or healthcare-related driving preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during work hours.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

PAY:

• $20.00 hourly
