Shuttle Driver/Public Area Attendant - Four Points by Sheraton Greensboro Airport

We are currently seeking a dual role Shuttle Driver & Public Area Attendant to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver & Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests by driving them to and from the airport and area locations within a designated radius of the hotel. In addition, during down time you will be working off a checklist to keep our Public Area (lobby, guest corridors, elevators, etc) and grounds spotlessly clean!   You will also assist with luggage and be available via the radio to make deliveries and handle guest requests as they come in to the front desk.  This role requires a true team player, that can make great care of our guests & our hotel every day, with a smile!

Shuttle Driver/Public Area Attendant Responsibilities Include:

- Drive guests to and from the airport and area locations within a designated radius of the hotel

- Assist guests with luggage

- Maintain the cleanliness of guest corridors, elevators, shuttle and all assigned areas

- Assist Housekeeping and Maintenance as needed

- Fold laundry

- Assist at the front desk as needed

- Assist with the F&B restaurant outlet as needed (running food, prepping food, serving F&B, etc)

- Always maintain a professional image through appearances and dress

- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner

- Make recommendations on ways our guests can have an exceptional stay

- Ensure security and general upkeep of vehicle 

**Cross trained associates who know how to perform any and all roles throughout the hotel are the associates to receive the most hours week to week.  This role could truly be a difference maker every day in the hotel!

Requirements

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Ability to communicate effectively with guests from all walks of life

- Professional yet friendly demeanor

- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 pounds

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

- Ability to adapt and change what you are doing on the fly

- Have the ability to work productively without constant supervision

- Has a sense of urgency in anything they do - this is a fact paced role!  Do not expect to be sitting throughout your shift at all unless you are driving a guest to their destination!
