Pay: $20–$25/hour (Based on Experience) + $2/hour 2nd Shift Differential
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Weld Test Requirements

• MIG (Pulse) on 1/4", 1/8", or 3/8"plate
• T-Plate
• 2F 1/4"Fillet Weld
• 3F Fillet Weld Downhill
• 4F at Supervisor’s Discretion
• Visual Inspection Required

Position Overview

We are currently hiring a skilled Side Frame Welder for 2nd shift in Tulsa. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, operate advanced welding equipment, and meet rigorous quality standards. Candidates must be comfortable with multiple welding positions and be committed to workplace safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements
• Set up and operate welding machines, adjusting amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse settings as needed
• Inspect welding machines, cables, and related equipment for safety and functionality
• Determine proper welding technique, position, and jig based on job specifications
• Guide the electrode or welding gun along weld lines, maintaining appropriate arc length and speed to ensure quality fusion and bead
• Use sound, color, and puddle size to assess and maintain weld quality
• Select and implement the most efficient welding processes for specific applications
• Inspect finished welds for size, cracks, or defects, and perform or recommend necessary repairs
• Clean and grind welds, removing slag and splatter for a clean finish
• Prepare parts by grinding, degreasing, or cleaning as needed
• Safely operate manlifts and cranes for material handling and positioning
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support team and production goals
