Siding Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Siding Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for measuring, evaluating, and preparing accurate bids for residential and commercial siding projects. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of siding systems, excellent math and communication skills, and the ability to work with homeowners, contractors, and crew leaders to ensure a smooth project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site visits to assess project scope, take accurate measurements, and identify special requirements
  

• Prepare detailed estimates and material takeoffs for vinyl, Hardie, and LP SmartSide siding systems
  

• Use estimating software or spreadsheets to generate professional proposals and submit bids
  

• Collaborate with sales, operations, and installation crews to ensure estimates align with actual costs and timelines
  

• Communicate clearly with customers to explain scope, pricing, and expectations
  

• Track project changes and update pricing as needed
  

• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and project documentation
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in siding, construction estimating, or related field
  

• Strong knowledge of siding materials, labor costs, and installation processes
  

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and estimating software (e.g., JobNimbus, CompanyCam, or Excel)
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  

• Strong math and spatial reasoning abilities
  

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
