Siebel Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Siebel Developer with hands-on experience in Siebel IP 2014, configuration, scripting, interface support, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Siebel EIM (Enterprise Integration Manager) and EDQ (Enterprise Data Quality) tools. This role requires the ability to analyze business requirements, design and implement technical solutions, and support the ongoing improvement and maintenance of the Siebel CRM platform.

Must live in proximity to Rockville, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Siebel Configuration using tools such as Siebel Tools and Siebel Web Tools.


• Develop and maintain Siebel eScript and Browser Script components.


• Manage and troubleshoot Siebel Interfaces, including workflows, web services (Inbound/Outbound), and EAI components.


• Design and implement enhancements to support business needs and improve performance and usability.


• Utilize Siebel EIM to import and export data between external systems and Siebel CRM.


• Work with Oracle EDQ for data quality assurance, deduplication, and data cleansing.


• Provide production support for Siebel CRM application, addressing user issues, bug fixes, and system performance tuning.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and DBAs.


• Follow change management and SDLC processes to ensure high-quality delivery.


• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and configurations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Siebel CRM, preferably IP 2014 or similar versions.


• Proficient in Siebel Tools, Configuration, eScript, and Workflows.


• Experience with Siebel EIM and EDQ (Oracle Enterprise Data Quality).


• Strong understanding of Siebel data model and integration techniques.


• Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, and XSLT.


• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex Siebel issues.


• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL queries.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Siebel Open UI.


• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.


• Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite or other middleware technologies.


• Certification in Siebel CRM or related technologies is a plus.
