SIEM Content Developer *** Proposal Opportunity 

Position Overview

We are seeking a SIEM Content Developer to develop and optimize detection content, use cases, custom analytics, and automation capabilities for enterprise security monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop new threat detection use cases.
• Create and tune SIEM correlation rules and alerting logic.
• Analyze threat intelligence and operational feedback to improve detections.
• Develop scripts and automation to enhance SIEM functionality.
• Evaluate and improve data ingestion and logging quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize detection requirements.
• Map use cases to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Recommend improvements to enterprise monitoring capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Eligible for IT-I Critical Sensitive/Tier 5 clearance.
• 5+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of SIEM content development or incident response experience.
• 3+ years of systems and/or network administration experience.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Network Architecture
  • Defense-in-Depth
  • Log Formats
  • Cybersecurity Monitoring
• Experience developing scripts using:
  • PowerShell
  • Python
  • SPL

• CSSP Analyst
• Splunk Power User
• Splunk Enterprise Security Admin
• CySA+
• CASP+
• CISSP
