Sierra West Airlines-Maintenance Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Maintenance Clerk to support our team at a family-owned aviation company. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping records accurate, organized, and easy to access.

Your attention to detail will help ensure important operational and maintenance documentation is properly maintained and readily available to support safe and efficient aviation operations. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys consistent, detail-oriented work and values being part of a dependable team that keeps daily operations running smoothly.

Job Duties

• Audit flight logs and maintain records to ensure accuracy and completeness


• Maintain and organize a personal digital library for quick access to key documents


• Update and manage the company’s digital library to ensure documents remain current


• Process weekly shipments by receiving, copying, organizing, and filing documents


• Receive, log, and inventory aircraft parts


• Maintain engine and propeller logbooks


• Keep major alteration binders and calibrated tool binders up to date


• Audit UPS shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness


• Ship parts, books, and binders to the appropriate facilities


• Calculate and record flight times and landings


• Enter maintenance discrepancies and corrective actions into company systems


• Assist with occasional local deliveries or pickups, including trips to the airport as needed


• Maintain and manage IT inventory


• Swap, test, and replace in-office IT hardware as needed


• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office


• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively


• Reliable and dependable


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Prior experience in a file clerk or administrative role preferred but not required

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
