As a sign installer, you have a key role in bringing our clients’ vision to life by ensuring precise and professional installation of signage, graphics and more!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to determine the best installation approach.
- Loading and transporting signs, tools and materials to location safely.
- Install new signs and sign structures ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection and installation of the sign. Assist in removal and/or replace parts of signs.
- Prepare a variety of signs for installation such as monument and pylon, post and panel, real estate and construction, digital, channel letters, cabinet and flat panels, directional and wayfinding.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve on-site. Collaborate with project managers, designers, sales staff and fellow installers to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Operate drills, grinders, jigsaws and other hand and power tools safely.
- Work in elevated positions occasionally.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure precise alignment, color consistency and overall visual appeal.
- Apply a variety of vinyl graphics to windows, doors, walls, storefronts, vehicles.
- Uphold high standards of industry standards, safety protocols and company policies to ensure personal and team well-being.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to a variety of projects.
- Previous experience in vinyl or sign installation or related field is preferred.
- Must have valid, unrestricted driver's license. CDL license preferred.
- Knowledge of tools and fasteners is helpful.
- Knowledge of various installation techniques and materials.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude a MUST (reading a tape measure, using basic tools).
- 1+ years of construction, carpentry and/or electrical experience preferred.
- Proven self-starter who can stay on task with little supervision.
- Sign Specialist License preferred. (Pay increased upon completion if obtained during employment.)
- Welding experience is a plus.
