We specialize in a wide range of signage, including indoor and outdoor signs, banners, and custom graphics. We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sign Fabricator to join our team.
Position Summary: The Sign Fabricator is responsible for constructing & assembling custom signs and graphics according to client specifications and company standards. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure that all signage meets the highest quality standards and is completed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Sign Fabrication: Construct and assemble signs using various materials such as metal, acrylic, wood, and vinyl. Operate and maintain fabrication equipment including CNC machines, routers, and cutting tools.
Graphic Application: Apply graphics and lettering to signs using methods such as vinyl application, digital printing, and painting. Ensure accuracy and quality in graphic placement and finishing.
Design Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, design layouts, and client specifications to accurately fabricate signs.
Quality Control: Inspect finished signs to ensure they meet quality standards and client requirements. Perform necessary adjustments and repairs.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met. Communicate effectively regarding project progress and any issues.
Safety: Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications
Skills: Proficiency in using fabrication tools and equipment. Knowledge of sign materials and methods, including vinyl application and digital printing preferred. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Technical Ability: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with software tools related to sign design and fabrication is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational training or certifications in sign fabrication or related fields is a plus.
