We specialize in creating innovative signage that enhances branding and marketing for a wide range of businesses. We are currently seeking a versatile and motivated Sign Installer & Production Specialist to join our team. This dual role combines hands-on installation with in-house sign production, offering variety and the opportunity to contribute to all stages of our projects.
What You’ll Do:
Sign Installation:
- Perform offsite installations of signs and print media, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting on walls, vehicles, ceilings, or other surfaces.
- Assess environments to determine installation requirements and techniques for a variety of surfaces and conditions.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, erect, and hang signs both indoors and outdoors.
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts or bucket trucks as needed.
- Review job requirements, verify measurements, and ensure all materials are ready for successful installations.
Sign Production:
- Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, laminating, painting, and cleaning.
- Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images and apply vinyl or full-color graphic images to a variety of substrates or media.
- Operate and maintain printing devices, ensuring proper calibration and output quality.
- Perform finishing operations such as laminating, mounting, and trimming printed pieces.
- Conduct quality control checks, proofing for errors, and ensuring high standards are met.
Collaborate & Advise:
- Work closely with the sales, design, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of all projects, from setup to final installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on production techniques, materials, and installation best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient with hand and power tools; experience with scissor lifts and bucket trucks (preferred but not required).
- 1-2 years of experience in sign production or installation (preferred but not required).
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 or more pounds, and work at heights.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
