Sign Maker / Production Manager

BSG needs a Sign Maker to join our team. The Sign Maker is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. The Sign Maker is also detail-oriented and able to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Sign Maker is self-confident and is not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius, and, most importantly, have fun! 

You will be creating and producing large format prints and signs with vinyl, and various substrates (wood, glass, PVC, acrylic, plastics).  Mask, weed, and apply vinyl to multiple surfaces. Use an X-Acto knife, tape measure, ruler, and production tools safely and efficiently. Properly load and operate a pressure laminator and cut vinyl on a plotter.  Experience with cold laminators and roll to roll printers as well as flatbed printing experience would be a plus. Print, mount, trim, and finish various digital graphics and signage. Move raw materials, sheets, and roll goods for manufacturing. Maintain machinery in good working order. Install vinyl graphics to meet customer satisfaction. 

Minimum Job Duties: 

•        Sign production: Mask, weed, and apply vinyl to multiple surfaces. 

•        Full-time availability (40 hours/week) 

•        Answer phones 

•        Consult/interface with customers 

•        Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area 

•        Assist in maintaining company signage equipment 

•        Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs 

•        Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional 

Minimum Qualifications: 

•        1+ years of experience as a professional sign maker – design and production 

•        Background in vinyl creation and application 

•        Large format digital printing 

•        General knowledge of graphic software 

•        Enjoying what you do 

Additional preferred qualifications: 

•        Vehicle wrap installation 

•        Knowledgeable in color management 

•        Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
