Job Overview

We’re seeking a dependable and versatile team member to support daily operations in our dynamic sign production shop. This role blends customer service with hands-on technical work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, learning new equipment, and working in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 📞 Front Office Duties: Answer phones, greet walk-in customers, and assist with basic inquiries. Demonstrate excellent phone and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and professional customer experience.

• 🧰 Production Support: Operate large format printers and CNC machines to produce custom signage and graphics.

• 📏 Measurement & Math: Accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math involving simple numbers and fractions to ensure precision in production and installation.

• 🚛 Material Handling: Lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

• 🧼 Shop Maintenance: Assist with light cleaning and upkeep of workspace and equipment.

• 📦 Occasional Off-Site Tasks: Support deliveries or installations outside the shop as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and add simple numbers and fractions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

• Comfortable working with tools and machinery (training provided).

• Physically capable of lifting and handling production materials.

• Friendly and professional demeanor with customers and teammates.

• Previous experience in a print shop, sign production, or CNC operation is a plus—but not required.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Primarily in-office work with occasional off-site projects.

• Full-time, weekday schedule with potential flexibility.
