Job Description - Signal Integrity Architect System & IO Architecture

Our architecture team evaluates future interfaces early, using data\u2011driven analysis to guide product and IO strategy.\n\nThis role focuses on early\u2011phase SI architecture exploration. You will independently model, simulate, and assess high\u2011speed interfaces and translate findings into clear architectural intent and requirements.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDefine SI architectural strategies for high\u2011speed memory and system interfaces \nPerform early feasibility and scaling analysis for future data rates \nBuild hands\u2011on channel models across package, board, and system \nDrive end\u2011to\u2011end SI co\u2011design with IO, package, and system architects \nTranslate SI insights into electrical requirements and architectural constraints\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering or related field \n10+ years of experience in signal integrity or high\u2011speed interface design \nStrong hands\u2011on SI modeling and simulation experience \nDeep understanding of transmission lines, jitter, loss, and crosstalk\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nMaster\u2019s degree in a related technical field \nExperience with memory interfaces or high\u2011speed IO standards \nBackground in architecture or pre\u2011silicon exploration roles \nStrong communication of complex SI trade\u2011offs to leadership\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSystems Design Engineering SMTS - Systems Design Engineering SMTS\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
