The School of Nursing has an outstanding opportunity for a Simulation Educator to join their team.
About this Opportunity
“Reporting to the Director of Simulation, the Simulation Educator is responsible for the design, facilitation, debriefing, and evaluation of School of Nursing Simulation-based learning experiences in the simulation center. The Simulation Educator operationalizes the clinical simulation teaching experience in partnership with the faculty and the School of Nursing.
The School of Nursing Simulation Center is a 7500 square foot space with 3 simulation labs, two large skills labs, 4 exam rooms, and additional debriefing spaces. Our programs provide students with the opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into safe clinical experiences using realistic patient scenarios. The UW SoN Simulation Center supports undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on skills training and simulated “real-world” experiences, enhancing their confidence and providing real-time human and technological feedback about the development of their psychomotor, assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and diagnostic skills.
