Job Description
The School of Nursing has an outstanding opportunity for a Simulation Technology Specialist to join their team.
About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Simulation, the Simulation Technology Specialist is responsible for providing operational, technical, and instructional technology support for simulation-based learning activities within the School of Nursing Simulation Center. This position is responsible for programming, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting simulation, audiovisual, and instructional technologies used to support undergraduate and graduate nursing education.
The Simulation Technology Specialist works collaboratively with Simulation Center staff and School of Nursing faculty to facilitate simulation and skills-based learning activities, maintain simulation equipment and learning environments, and support the effective day-to-day operation of the Simulation Center. This position plays a key operational role in ensuring that simulation activities are delivered in a reliable, organized, safe, and learner-centered environment.
The School of Nursing Simulation Center is a 7,500 square foot space with simulation labs, skills labs, exam rooms, and debriefing spaces that support undergraduate and graduate nursing education through hands-on skills training and simulated clinical experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Simulation & Instructional Technology Support (70%):
Lab Operations and Maintenance (20%)
