ABOUT THE CANDIDATE / ROLE

This is a PC-12 Simulator Instructor position which is located at the RTC simulator facility in Tampa, FL. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Conduct Initial/Recurrent/Upgrade Training and Checking in the Pilatus PC-12 simulator 
• Generate and maintain the schedule of sessions in the Tampa simulator throughout the year 
• Assist the Director of Training in researching, evaluating, and implementing new or revised training systems, policies, and procedures 
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL) with instrument rating. 
• Must be able to relocate to within 90 minutes of the Tamps Simulator Facility 
• Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR § 135.337 and 135.338 for simulator qualification 
• Excellent presentation ability. 
• Four year college degree or equivalent experience. 
• Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, operating procedures and policies 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. 
• Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently. 
• Some travel required as needed at other training locations. 
• Ability to work night shift multiple consecutive nights. 
• Other duties as assigned  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Part 135 experience. 
• Pilatus PC-12 experience. 
• CFII with turbine aircraft experience. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 15 pounds. 
• Ability to work in confined spaces as required. 
• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work. 
• Ability to communicate effectively by phone and during in-person and virtual meetings. 
• Ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Primarily an indoor office environment with standard lighting and temperature-controlled conditions. 
• Regular use of computers and standard office equipment. 
• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use may be required.
