Job Description - Site Coordinator

JOB TITLE: Site Coordinator


REPORTS TO: Club House Director


TARGET START DATE: 05/01/2026 – Open Until Filled

ROLE:


The Club House Site Coordinator works with the Program Director to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Club House program at a Middle or Elementary School program site within North Thurston Public Schools. This role works directly with students, guiding homework help, academic activities, enrichment activities, physical fitness activities, youth leadership development, small-group student meetings, snack, and other activities. Additionally, The Site Coordinator provides direct supervision to Program Facilitators at site and collaborates with staff to organize & compile site lesson plans, schedules, donations, and participation in trainings with a commitment to learn and follow strategies as defined in the national Youth Program Quality Initiative (YPQI) or other program quality initiatives as directed by OSPI funding.


 


HOURS & WORK SCHEDULE


Weekly Hours: 35


FTE: .875


Classification: Non-Exempt


Work Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as required based on program and organizational needs.


 


COMPENSATION


Candidates hired for this position can expect a wage of $26.17 – $30.29 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.


Total annual salary range for this position is $54,438.38 – $63,007.98, as applicable.
Eligible for competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, IRA retirement plan, and paid leave.


 


WORK LOCATION


The Club House Program operates across multiple sites within North Thurston Public Schools. This is a primarily on-site role.


 


This position requires regular presence at assigned program sites. Reliable transportation is required to travel between the TOGETHER! office and assigned program locations as needed.


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


 


Site & Program Operations:



  1. Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the Club House program at the assigned school site

  2. Ensure compliance with school district, TOGETHER!, and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) policies, procedures, and grant requirements

  3. Participate in Youth Program Quality (YPQ) self-assessments, goal setting, and program evaluation activities

  4. Collect and report required program data in coordination with the Program Director

  5. Recruit participants and ensure average daily attendance targets are met

  6. Oversee student registration, enrollment, and communication with families

  7. Establish and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations, public agencies, universities, and local partners

  8. Purchase food and program supplies; complete credit card reconciliation and reporting

  9. Network with local organizations to build partnerships and secure resources


 


Site Supervision & Team Leadership:



  1. Supervise and manage site staff, volunteers, and overall student environment at the site

  2. Maintain consistent communication with staff, Program Director, school personnel, families, and partners

  3. Identify, recruit, and train volunteers, parent liaisons, and community partners

  4. Provide mentorship and guidance to facilitators on lesson planning, activity delivery, and classroom management

  5. Delegate and oversee administrative tasks such as:



  • Volunteer recruitment and tracking hours

  • Donation tracking and documentation

  • Creating thank-you communications for volunteers and donors



  1. Support Program Director with additional projects and program initiatives

  2. Model and enforce professional conduct standards (attendance, boundaries, communication, etc.)


 


Student Engagement and Activity Implementation:



  1. Provide direct supervision of students during all program components, including:



  • Mealtime

  • Homework support

  • Enrichment activities

  • Recreation

  • Transitions



  1. Proactively engage with students to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment

  2. Ensure delivery of high-quality program services for enrolled children and families

  3. Prepare and support staff in developing lesson plans for academic and enrichment activities

  4. Compile weekly lesson plans, supply lists, and create site calendars

  5. Implement family engagement activities, services, and events

  6. Ensure consistent implementation of student and program evaluation activities

  7. Demonstrate strong problem-solving and crisis management for student and staff-related issues


 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



Education


High School Diploma


Professional Experience


3+ Years of K-12 education and youth programming experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience.


Licensure & Certifications


Current First Aid and/or CPR certification, to be completed within 90 days of hire.


Valid Driver’s License

  5. High level of independence and self-direction, with strong follow-through, accountability, and the ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.

  6. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications, with the ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and effectively utilize new systems and technologies.

  7. Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and systems change, with an understanding of systemic oppression and structural inequities and the ability to apply this awareness in professional practice.

  8. Ability to represent TOGETHER! professionally, contributing positively to relationships with partners, stakeholders, community members, and program participants while upholding the organization’s mission and values.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Social Sciences, Public Health, Human Services or a closely related field.
