Site Director - After School - Exciting Challenge

After School Site Director Needed for Sargent Shriver Elementary School- All five days Monday through Friday 3-6:30pm

$21.00 hourly

Afterschool Site Director- Sargent Shriver Elementary School. Montgomery County MD Must be already Site Director Qualified

• Be at least 21 years old;
  
  Classes
  Hold a high school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence, or have successfully completed at least two courses for credit from an accredited college or university;
  
  Have successfully completed:
  9 clock hours communications class
  3 semester hours of the administrative class
  ADA class
  Basic Health and Saftey
  Medication Administration
  Cpr and first aid
  
  Have successfully completed 6 semester hours of college-approved Education classes.
• OR
  90 clock hours School-Age Certification.
• This must be school-age (infant or preschool will not be accepted.)

As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
• Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.
