Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for construction execution and delivery across a large scale data center site.
- Lead and manage the Owner’s Representative project team, including Directors, Project Managers, Construction Managers, coordinators, technical resources, and specialty functions.
- Serve as a senior site representative for the Owner with General Contractors, Trade Contractors, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Direct contractor performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, productivity, risk, and project controls.
- Establish and maintain a strong site safety culture with clear expectations, accountability, and visible leadership.
- Drive predictable schedule execution and ensure project teams identify, communicate, and mitigate risks before they affect critical milestones.
- Provide leadership across multiple contracting and execution strategies, including multi prime and direct trade contracting environments.
- Manage and coordinate General Contractors and Trade Contractors working directly for the Owner.
- Oversee planning, construction strategy, sequencing, resource alignment, and site execution across multiple scopes and work packages.
- Ensure effective coordination across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and critical infrastructure systems.
- Lead site level decision making, issue resolution, escalation management, and corrective action planning.
- Maintain high expectations for construction quality, commissioning readiness, turnover, and final project delivery.
- Monitor cost performance, contractor changes, schedule impacts, and project risks while supporting timely commercial and execution decisions.
- Provide clear executive level reporting regarding project status, milestones, safety, quality, cost, schedule, contractor performance, and emerging risks.
- Build strong working relationships across the Owner, WWPS, General Contractors, Trade Contractors, design partners, and project stakeholders.
- Champion collaborative execution and Lean Construction practices that improve predictability, coordination, and project performance.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large scale data centers or other mission critical facilities.
- Proven experience leading large construction teams and managing senior project leadership personnel.
- Experience representing an Owner, developer, program manager, EPCM organization, or similarly accountable project delivery organization.
- Strong experience managing General Contractors and Trade Contractors on behalf of an Owner.
- Experience working within multiple contract execution strategies, including multi prime or direct trade contracting.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Strong track record managing construction quality, schedule predictability, cost performance, and project risk.
- Experience delivering complex MEP systems and mission critical infrastructure.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision making, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced project environment with significant executive visibility and accountability.
Preferred Background
- Data center construction leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Experience delivering hyperscale, cloud, colocation, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other highly complex mission critical facilities.
- Previous Site Director, Construction Director, Project Director, Program Director, Senior Construction Manager, or comparable site leadership experience.
- Experience with major capital programs and multi project campus environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, or comparable project management and construction technology platforms.
Location and Project Commitment
This position is based 100% on site in Haskell, Texas.The anticipated start is October 2026, with a minimum two year project duration.WWPS is actively supporting relocation and mobilization for qualified candidates. Available programs may include:
