We’re looking for strong, dedicated leaders to provide high-quality programs for children at our elementary school sites and beyond.

As a Site Director, you’ll play an essential role in overseeing the Before & After School programs, as well as the School's Out Program at our local school sites. Under the direction of the Director of School-Age Programming, you’ll manage daily operations, curriculum development, and staff supervision. This is your opportunity to put your leadership, planning, and creativity into action, all while fostering a fun and safe environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and implement engaging daily programs and curriculum at your assigned site
• Ensure compliance with NH Child Care Licensing regulations and maintain accurate documentation
• Integrate Character Development and YMCA core values into daily activities
• Collaborate with fellow directors in weekly meetings, workshops, and YMCA training sessions
• Supervise, mentor, and train site staff and volunteers to ensure quality programming
• Build strong relationships with school staff, parents, and community partners
• Be available for school breaks, holiday programs, and our summer camp initiative

Position Specifics:

• Full-Time Position
• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Locations:  Merrimack Valley & Concord, NH

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 20 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• One of the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or Recreation
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Recreation Director certification with 1000 hours of experience working with children
  • 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Human Growth & Development, Education, or Recreation plus 1000 hours of experience working with children
