Job Description - Site Director - Tacoma

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Special Education teacher for our Site Director position.  We offer a small, collaborative, and caring community of staff who support one another to provide excellent services for each student we serve. Ideal candidates for this position will have demonstrated supervisory experience, and an effective history of working with individuals with severe behavior.

Job Description

The Site Director oversees daily operations and supervises Special Education Programming requirements as well as facility needs for the students and staff, under direction of the Chief of Staff.

    • Oversight of student Programming
      • OSPI/State/ABA teaching field requirements
      • Review of all student-related documentation
      • Review of program books
    • Oversight of student IEP meetings/Contracts
      • Feedback
      • Training
      • Completion (IEP due dates)
    • Oversight of incidents
      • Physical Management
      • Report Requirements
      • Validity of BIP implementation
      • Facility level of incidents and strategies to decrease
      • Med management review 
  • Staff
  • Management and delegation of staff 
    • Interview and Hire
      • BT, Teacher, BCBA, SLP, OT, PT, etc
    • Maintenance of staff performance reports
      • Employee life cycle
      • Financial compensation recommendations 
      • Monitor systemically for burnout
    • PD day development
      • Planning
      • Safety Care (as needed)
    • BCBA/Student teachers
      • Practicums
      • Test prep
  • Management of quality metrics
    • Review dashboard measures and implement changes as needed
    • Assist with updating policies and procedures
    • Review Feedback Surveys and implement changes as needed
    • Review incident reports implement changes as needed 
  • Facility
    • Management of upkeep
      • Cleaner contractors
      • Outside contractors
      • IT needs
      • Assign Indirect tasks
    • Management of financial targets
      • Submit checks
      • Manage Staff budgets
      • Meet Profit targets
    • Assisting with facility events/community outreach
      • Open houses, NW ASD walk, etc


Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) by the Department of Health of WA or currently eligible for licensure. Applicants who hold a BCBA or BCBA-D credential are eligible for a LBA in Washington State. 
  • Master's (Required)
  • BCBA (Required)
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, providers, and families in a collegial and professional manner.
  • Reliable transportation, current valid driver's license, car insurance, and working cell phone
  • CPR/BLS (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Food Handlers (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and physically respond to challenging behavior including pursuit of an eloping student and use of physical management procedures
  • Ability to pass a background check and driving record check
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as BCBA
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience with Central Reach EMR
  • Experience with Special Education and severe behaviors

Job Type: Full-time
This is not a remote position

  • Starting Salary: $95,000 per year to start
  • Opportunity Salary: Up to $125,000 based on job and location performance
  • Relocation Negotiable
