Provide leadership and oversight for site-level facilities operations and maintenance, delivering safe, efficient, and welcoming environments that support Milo’s People First Culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages site-level facilities operations and maintenance, including building systems, grounds, and shared spaces.
• Leads facilities and maintenance personnel, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Manages work order flow across the site, prioritizing and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production support areas.
• Oversees site utility systems, including the wastewater system, ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Identifies and mitigates safety hazards in non-production facility areas, partnering with EH&S and Operations to maintain facilities-related compliance.
• Manages vendor relationships for janitorial, landscaping, waste, security, and maintenance services, ensuring contract performance and service quality.
• Manages the facilities maintenance budget, tracking spend against plan and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
• Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to align facilities operations with site and enterprise objectives.
• Uphold and lead participation in Corporate Responsibility initiatives, including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
• This position has food safety responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field, including 3 or more years in a relevant functional area; or 3 or more years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Demonstrated experience managing direct reports required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, building code requirements, and interaction with regulatory authorities required.
• Working knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met or that an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. All applicants must have the ability to stay at work station for three continuous hours.
