Site Maintenance Crew Member (Groundskeeper)

About the role

We are looking to add a Site Maintenance Crew Member to our growing Maintenance Department. As a Site Maintenance Crew Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities are well-maintained and operational. They will be required to perform a range of tasks to keep the facilities in good working condition and provide a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. This on-site position will directly support our maintenance operations at our Corsicana, TX facility.

Essential Functions

• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and systems within the facility.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with larger maintenance and repair projects, including renovations, upgrades, and installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including storage areas and maintenance facilities.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, and external contractors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility or data centers, including custodial, engineering, site services, mining operations, electrical, and general maintenance, are implemented and conducted in a manner consistent with Riot policies and directives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work at heights on lifts and ladders required. 
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
• Good communication and multitasking skills.

Education and Experience 

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior facilities or relevant operation experience is preferred.
