About the role
The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, oversight, and management of a multifamily affordable housing property, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, optimizing occupancy, and providing high-quality service to residents. This role is a key leadership position that directly supports the mission of providing safe, clean, and affordable housing for low- to moderate-income individuals and families.
Responsibilities
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
1. Manage daily operations of the property, including leasing, rent collection, inspections, maintenance, and resident relations
2. Supervise and train on-site staff including leasing agents, maintenance personnel, and contractors
3. Ensure full compliance with all applicable affordable housing regulations (HUD, LIHTC, HOME, etc.)
4. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reviews
5. Monitor property budgets and financial performance; prepare monthly variance reports
6. Oversee unit turnovers, re-certifications, and move-in/move-out procedures
7. Foster a positive, safe, and respectful community environment for residents
8. Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns and emergencies
9. Other duties as assigned
