  • Ensure material receipts and selling of chemical materials in ERP/Purchasing system.
  
  
  • Complete customer invoices, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and monitor inventory levels.
  
  
  • Identifies, tracks and secures customer approvals of Productivity projects.
  
  
  • Identification of alternate materials and suppliers.
  
  
  • Tracks order progress to receipt of goods at customer location.
  
  
  • Interacts with customers and on-site personnel on delivery, quality or any other issues on purchase order.
  
  
  • Establishes and continually manages effective supplier relations.
  
  
  • Completes physical inventories and conducts material planning based on customer needs.
  
  
  • Performs other duties and special projects as required.
  
  
  • Run and analyze reports to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, pricing discrepancies, supplier changes, and supply chain improvement.
  
  
  • Implements new suppliers, supplier consolidation, etc.
  
  
  • Engages in supplier negotiations and works to delay or reduce price increases from suppliers.
  
  
  • Works on customer bids to obtain supplier pricing for any new business opportunities.
  
  
  • Awareness/commitment to extensive cost savings and impact of costs on customers
  
  
  • Forecast usage / maintenance based on schedules and history and to suggest needed maintenance and materials
  
  
  • Inventory Control
  
  
  • Minimize process waste in a variety of applications
  
  
  • Reduce waste footprint at sight through reuse, recycle, or right sizing
  
  
  • Provides outstanding customer service and identifies each unique need
  
  
  • Maintains outstanding relationships with Tier 2 suppliers/ management/personnel/company personnel
  
  
  • Successfully trains/grows talents of assigned personnel
  
  
  • Appropriately prioritizes workload and assigns tasks to appropriate personnel
  
  
  • Manages workload within conflicting operational demands and tight deadline constraints
  
  
  
  

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry/Biology, biochemistry preferred.


• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aerospace chemical management preferred.


• Understands/maintains the customer drives our business philosophy of Chemico, LLC


• Displays awareness/commitment to extensive cost savings and impact of costs on customers


• Ability to forecast usage / maintenance based on schedules and history and to suggest needed maintenance and materials


• Inventory Control


• Ability to minimize process waste in a variety of applications


• Ability to reduce waste footprint at sight through reuse, recycle, or right sizing


• Possesses understanding/decision-making and negotiating skills


• Provides customer service and identifies each unique need


• Maintains relationships with Tier 2 suppliers/ management/personnel/company personnel


• Demonstrates excellent problem identification/resolution skills


• Possesses strong oral/written/interpersonal communication skills


• Successfully trains/grows talents of assigned personnel


• Appropriately prioritizes workload and assigns tasks to appropriate personnel


• Manages workload within conflicting operational demands and tight deadline constraints


• Understands accounting principles and is capable in Crystal Reports and MAS Software.


• Demonstrates ability to make effective decisions and possesses a positive work ethic


• Possesses strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and orderly work habits


• Possesses high level knowledge of spreadsheet and database software


• Occasional travel possibly required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry and/or preferred.


• Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in chemical management.


• Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract construction, negotiation, and application.


• Must possess RCRA/DOT and HAZWOPER certifications.

Work Environment:

          Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast paced environment.           This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role requires presence       on the manufacturing floor and a significant amount of walking on concrete     surfaces. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as         computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Ability to work in team         fostered environment. Ability to work in multi-tasked environment. Strong      personality and focus in fast-paced and demanding environments. Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
