Collaborate across functions and manage Quality team to lead new product introduction, improvement in key quality metrics, and adherence to the Quality System.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Ownership of driving zero defect culture with reduction of Quality KPI's - Defects, QEMs, and Losses
Champion APQP (Advanced Planning Quality Process) into change management and NPI
Ownership for improvement of FTY with collaboration from Engineering counterparts
Problem solve and use statistical tools to identify actions for improvement.
Monitor improvements through control phase
Ownership of improving site Quality System along with compliance to the quality system
Manage a team of quality engineers
Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation
Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and provide recommendations.
Use multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/ GED with at least 6 years of Quality, Manufacturing, and/or Engineering Experience)
At least 5 years of Quality, Manufacturing, and/or Engineering Experience
