Position: Site Superintendent (Confidential Opportunity)
Overview A growing and well-established organization is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site execution of complex equipment installation projects across multiple locations. This individual will serve as the primary field representative, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications and customer expectations.
This is a highly visible role offering significant autonomy, travel, and the opportunity to work in diverse project environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery, inspection, and installation of engineered equipment and associated systems at project sites
Inspect incoming materials for shipping or handling damage and document findings accurately
Verify inventory of delivered components and communicate discrepancies to internal teams
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for contractors, installers, and subcontractors
Coordinate technical clarifications and resolve field issues in real time to maintain project progress
Identify and assist in resolving minor quality concerns and punch-list items
Ensure full compliance with all safety standards, site protocols, and regulatory requirements
Provide consistent reporting, including progress updates, site documentation, and photos
Represent the organization with professionalism and a strong customer-focused approach
Lead and support field personnel to ensure high-quality execution of all project scope
Collaborate with internal teams to support project closeout, commissioning, and turnover activities
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in field supervision, construction, or mechanical/electrical installation environments
Experience with industrial equipment, power systems, or similar engineered products preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and installation documents
Strong communication and coordination skills in fast-paced, field-based environments
Self-directed with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively, including extended site assignments
High school diploma required; technical or trade certification preferred

Ideally come from the industry, relo will be provided if they are in the industry (specifically 'generator enclosure' or 'fuel tank' or UL experience within the large mission critical enclosure industry i.e. PDC, PDM, Cabinets, MCC, pods, tanks, modules, power shelter, BESS Enclosure, UL Enclosure, E-house, switchgear buildings.)
Reporting to Customer Care Service Manager
They have 4-5 field techs now that would report to this person, building up to 12
80% travel Phoenix, AZ mostly and day travel to Austin, need someone who is comfortable working in the heat.
Could be in Phoenix two weeks at a time - this is a travel job that will help set up enclosures at customers sites.
Ideally someone in either Phoenix, Austin, or even Dallas, but could also live in San Antonio and travel.
