Job Description - Site Supervisor

  • Job Title: Site Supervisor
    Reports To: Project Manager
    Classification: Part-time (40-60 hours per week, project based)
    Compensation: $25-27 per hour + per diem + benefits + production bonuses
    Location: 100% Travel

  • Job Summary
    • The Foam Application Supervisor is responsible for leading 1-3 teams (3-5 personnel each) of Foam Application Specialists (FAS) in the field, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional execution of duties. This role plays a key part in maintaining refinery efficiency by overseeing the cleaning of heat exchangers, which helps remove contaminants and improve equipment performance.
    • Work is project-based, with field execution occurring during campaigns. Standard campaign shifts are 12–14-hour workdays, seven days a week, until project completion, including demobilization and logistics. In alignment with company policy, the 14th day of work is designated as a day of rest. Training begins in February, with project work expected between March and September. Minimal work is anticipated from October through January.
  • Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
    • 3–5 years of supervisory experience, including training, resourcing/equipping, developing, and managing small teams (10–20 personnel and assigned equipment).
    • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining supporting equipment in a refinery or oil & gas environment.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with company personnel and plant/refinery staff.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for submitting reports and documentation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving roles and responsibilities.
    • 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Able to communicate in English
    • High school diploma / GED
    • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame retardant work clothes, etc.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
  • Preferences to Get Job
    • OSHA 10 certification.
    • 2–3 years of oil & gas or refinery experience.
    • Valid passport and ability to travel to Canada.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
    • TWIC Card.
  • What you do on Job
    • Oversee and manage the FA trailer and teams, ensuring all personnel and equipment are serviceable and mission-ready.
    • Supervise the FA process, including the application of cleaning solutions to tube exteriors (fin fans) to remove debris and contaminants.
    • Communicate effectively via radio with refinery operations, maintenance teams, and company personnel.
    • Collect and report required data to track progress and identify any issues.
    • Analyze collected information to provide recommendations and feedback to company managers and refinery contacts.
    • Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards.
    • Provide real-time training and mentorship to team members throughout campaigns.
    • Assist and direct FAS Leads and team members in resolving challenges during campaigns.
    • Conduct campaign onboarding meetings with Lead FAS and operators.
    • Perform site walks to assess equipment health and performance for current and prospective customers.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide direct feedback to FAS Leads and operators.
    • Coordinate team travel and logistical requirements.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
