Job Description - Site Supervisor

Wonderspring is looking for an enthusiastic Site Supervisor for our before and after school program in the Colonial School District! You'll be the mastermind behind a fun, enriching, and safe Out of School Time (OST) program. This full-time, year-round gig is benefits-eligible and perfect for grad students or aspiring educational leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordination and implementation of lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices
Ensure effective communication with families regarding children’s developmental growth through observations, anecdotal reports, and conferences
Collaborate with school district personnel to include principals, teachers, administrative and custodial staff as complimentary supports to programming
Monitor staff participation in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programming for all students
Maintain records of student achievement and reports as required
Work with the Group Supervisor and Center Director to orient, supervise and mentor staff by providing necessary tools, information, and support to ensure success
Facilitate family intake and enrollment process
Establish and maintain communication with staff that creates a positive climate to enhance achievement

Qualifications

BA/BS in Education, required
Two (2) years’ experience working with children
Excellent, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians and school district personnel

Work Schedule

37 hours per week, Monday through Friday
7:00 AM – 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
