House Supervisor - DODD Facility

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure a safe, supportive environment within our DODD (Developmental Disabilities Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities) facility. This leadership role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals served while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff and residents to promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including DODD guidelines and policies

- Provide leadership, training, and support to staff members to foster professional development and high-quality care

- Monitor resident behavior and implement appropriate interventions and support plans

- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incidents, and staff activities

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies to coordinate care and services

- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure smooth facility functioning

- Promote a positive, inclusive culture that respects the dignity and rights of all residents

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred

- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a residential or healthcare setting, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities

- Knowledge of DODD regulations, licensing standards, and best practices in residential care

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and compassion

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required
