Eaton\u2019s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Site Supply Chain Manager. This position will be located at our Torrance, CA facility. \n\n \nThe Material Operations Manager is responsible for managing the internal materials \u0026 scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule coordinated with the Network Planning team through the SIOP process.\n\n \nThis role is responsible for leading or supporting the following core processes:\n\n\\- Scheduling production in the short-term horizon based on the S\u0026OE processes. \n\\- Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting. \n\\- Movement of materials through the facility. \n\\- Internal receipts, storage, distribution and transportation. \n\\- Manage logistics activities for the site.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $112000 - $164000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\u2022 Manage materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant\u2019s operations by deploying lean material flow. \n\u2022 Administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards. \n\u2022 Support generation of short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network. \n\u2022 Monitor execution of production schedule defined by the Network (schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan). \n\u2022 Escalate risks of material availability to the COE and Network teams. \n\u2022 Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan. \n\u2022 Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team. \n\u2022 Champions and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments (MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping as well as New Product Introduction and growth initiatives. \n\u2022 Maintain target inventory levels and meet OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network. \n\u2022 Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling. \n\u2022 Serve as point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan. \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree from an accredited institution. \n\u2022 Minimum of three (3) years combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment. \n\u2022 Minimum of one (1) year manager of people experience. \n\u2022 Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. \n\u2022 This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. \n\u2022 No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Torrance, CA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Experience in supporting cross-functional SIOP and Inventory management processes. \n\u2022 Experience with ERP systems. \n\u2022 APICS CPIM Certification.\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product. \n\u2022 Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution. \n\u2022 Extensive SAP knowledge in materials management configuration. \n\u2022 Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop existing processes as well as team roles and responsibilities. \n\u2022 Strong leadership and communication skills. \n\u2022 Ability to motivate team members to drive for results. \n\n#LI-CB3\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
