Automotive Service Technician responsibilities




  • Perform work and execute repairs as outlined on repair order accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealer and factory standards.




  • Test drive vehicles, test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special equipment.




  • Ability to properly diagnose and repair customer concerns correctly the first time.




  • Document all work performed.




  • Communicate diagnosis and repair time frame to Service Advisor in order to keep the customer updated.




  • Communicates any additional work needed directly with the Service Advisor




  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.




Job Qualifications




  • Some prior technical experience preferred




  • High school diploma or equivalent




  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
