Starting salary $85,000-$90,000/ year | Credit for experience will be given
How you will make an impact:
In this leadership role, you'll direct day-to-day clinical operations in skilled nursing (19 beds), closely collaborating with therapy, culinary, resident life, maintenance, housekeeping, finance, and sales teams to ensure exceptional resident care and satisfaction. You will lead quality assurance and risk management initiatives, oversee key performance indicators, and serve as the primary liaison between residents, families, and our multidisciplinary team. Additionally, you’ll manage budgets, labor costs, supplies, and documentation systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and financial objectives. Your role also includes guiding survey readiness, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, developing corrective action plans as needed, and recruiting, coaching, and mentoring clinical team members. You'll schedule staffing based on acuity and provide essential on-call leadership support.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with an on-call rotation.
What you will need:
Current Illinois Registered Nursing license required.
Bachelor’s degree or at least four years of long-term/geriatric nursing experience (or an equivalent combination)
Minimum five years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures relate to staff and organization operations
Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
Commitment to person-centered care and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Computer-adept in EHR and Microsoft Office Suite
