Skilled Operator

Fondomonte Arizona is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Skilled Operators to join our team. This is an essential role in our agricultural operations. Skilled Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining various types of farm equipment, including tractors, rakes, forklifts, and balers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate small to medium farm machinery, 90 hp to 190hp such as rake, baler, forklift, and trucks.


• Maintain and clean equipment such as fuel geese & twine machinery.


• Carry out manual repetitive work assigned by the Line Manager.


• Maintain and clean fields throughout the day.


• Work side by side with Skilled Operator I and assist where needed, work together as a team.


• Follow proper practices, OSHA standards, and other company policies.


• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.


• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.


• Operate various metal cutting and forming machines that require using different measuring tools.


• Operate forklifts moving material.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment


• Great listening, communication, and verbal skills


• Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Capable of working under pressure.


• Display a positive and professional attitude toward peers and the leadership team.


• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks given.

Job Context:

• Work hours may vary based on business needs, flexibility to work on the weekend is required.


• This job is located in Salome, Arizona


• Minimum of 3 Months of experience in Agricultural Forage.

Pay Rate - Starts at $17.06 HR

• Ability to lift, carry, reach, push, and/or pull; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
