Skilled Registered Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a Skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Macomb, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their health and well-being through personalized care plans and professional expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.


• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.


• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.


• Educate patients and their families on disease management and health maintenance.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.


• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.


• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home care or related field.


• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.
