Job Description - SLEEP CENTER - POLY RN OR TRAINEE

Nursing practice, which is grounded in the organization's nursing philosophy, involves the patient/caregivers/significant others with respect to their values, cultural differences, preferences and expressed needs. 2. Assessing health status for the purpose of providing nursing care. 3. Identifying patterns of human responses to actual or potential health problems amenable to a nursing regimen. 4. Plan, implement and document nursing interventions based on clinical assessment and best practice in a timely manner. Administers medications, treatments, and regimens within scope of practice that is prescribed by appropriately authorized individuals. 5. Evaluate patient response/outcome to determine effectiveness of treatments and modify as necessary to achieve identified patient goals. 6. Providing health counseling and health teaching. 7. Awareness and accountability with regards to outcomes across the balanced score card. 8. Coordinates, collaborates, and appropriately delegates with the interdisciplinary team-including physicians-to optimize patient outcomes. 9. Initiates appropriate actions, including use of chain of command, to address unmet needs or changes in patient conditions. 10. Application of critical thinking along the novice to expert continuum. RN will be required to maintain current RN licensure in this job code.  Current CPR certification required at the time of hire.
