Overview

We are actively looking for a Slitter Operator to join us at our state-of-the-art production facility in Collinsville, Illinois. Under direct supervision, the slitter operator is responsible for using the slitter to cut a roll of material to different widths and wind to a specified footage all indicated on job instructions. The Slitter Operator works Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:00pm. Additional responsibilities include:

• Understand machine operations, and responsibilities.
• Complete Machine set-ups.
• Monitor quality of materials.
• Package materials, in boxes and on pallet.
• Assemble packaging materials for finished product.
• Data entry and collection.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of prior warehouse associate experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Problem solving skills sufficient to address both routine and non-routine problems.
• Ability to work independently.
