Shift/Hours: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Small Equipment Operator to join our team in Catoosa. This position primarily involves operating a small forklift for material handling and assisting with the packing and preparation of items for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and prior experience in a fabrication or warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a small forklift safely and efficiently to move materials
• Pack items into crates for outgoing shipments in accordance with safety guidelines
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are secured properly
• Band materials for transport to ensure safe and stable shipment
• Assist and act as a spotter for the Shuttle Operator
• Maintain accurate documentation and minimize paperwork errors
• Follow all company safety standards and procedures
• Support and uphold the company’s core values, safety culture, and ethical conduct

Qualifications

• Previous experience or formal training in a fabrication or machine shop environment
• Certification and demonstrated ability to operate a small forklift
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and related equipment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be actively enrolled and compliant in a company drug testing program
• Physical ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, kneel, and stoop
• Occasionally climb onto equipment or trailers
• Push, pull, or carry objects weighing 35–50 lbs with assistance
