Small Group Personal Trainer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Personal Trainer with a passion for small group training. This role focuses on delivering engaging, results-driven group sessions that build community, accountability, and measurable progress for participants of all fitness levels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Design and lead safe, effective, and high-energy small group training sessions focused on strength, conditioning, and overall wellness 
• Create a motivating and inclusive group environment that fosters connection, accountability, and long-term member engagement 
• Provide individualized coaching within a group setting, ensuring proper form, modifications, and progression for all participants 
• Actively build and grow a loyal client base by promoting small group training programs and personal training offerings 
• Deliver exceptional member experiences by making all participants feel welcomed, supported, and confident 
• Assess participants’ goals, fitness levels, and limitations, and adapt programming to meet diverse needs within a group format 
• Serve as a visible ambassador of wellness by modeling healthy behaviors and maintaining a strong personal fitness brand 
• Complete all required administrative tasks, including scheduling and tracking sessions using Appointment King (training provided) 
• Maintain current personal training certifications and stay up to date with industry trends and group training methodologies 

 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (formal education in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, or Kinesiology preferred)
• Must actively workout and maintain your own fitness program
• Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NCSF, etc.)
• CPR/FA/AED Certified or able to get certified within 90 days of hire
