The Senior Energy Engineer conducts facility site visits, analyzes the customer’s current situation, and produces plans for Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs). This position also assists sales and operations in the development, procurement, and execution of performance contracts. As the direct customer interfacing Consulting Energy Engineer, you will play a significant role managing all aspects of a robust energy conservation and utilization reporting effort. The successful candidate will be able to facilitate public relations with internal and external stakeholders as well as present the key aspects of the relationship with prospective public and private customers.

As a Senior Energy Engineer, you will:

• Function as a customer specific on-site Energy Manager in Dallas, Texas. This position will address energy procurement, energy risk management, energy forecasting, lead utility and local energy efficiency programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate Siemens Energy Engineers and staff to determine facility operational characteristics and apply building energy simulation programs to develop energy, cooling, and heating load-building models using energy modeling and/or reporting software.
• Perform specific detailed facility audits to identify Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs). Identified improvement measures will include savings potential, cost estimates, and data to verify impact. 
• Investigate and coordinate the campus LEED certification program. 
• Develop, report, and present all aspects of energy management on a frequent basis including dashboard creation and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related science or engineering field 
• Nationally recognized Professional Energy Management, Commissioning, or Engineering Certification  
• 7+ years of energy industry experience supporting performance-based projects 
• Verbal and written communication skills in English 
• Experience with Microsoft Office 
• Highly proficient with using Microsoft Excel 
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Commissioning Professional certification 
• 10+ Years of experience with supporting Energy performance-based projects

• The pay range for this position is $80,920 - $138,720 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
