Reports To: BoreSite Operations Supervisor

Pay Range

• Smart Flow Operator 1: $21.00/hour


• Smart Flow Operator 2: $24.00/hour


• Smart Flow Operator 3: $27.00/hour

Operator level and starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skill level.

Position Summary

Deep Well Services is seeking a Smart Flow Operator to join our Smart Flow Operations team. This position is responsible for safely operating and maintaining our Smart Flow flowback skid at field locations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, equipment performance, and attention to detail.

The Smart Flow Operator will work alongside the Smart Flow technology lead and other service providers on location, representing Deep Well Services' One Team culture through clear communication, teamwork, and safe work practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the rig-up and rig-down of the Smart Flow skid and supporting iron package.


• Operate the Smart Flow skid from the on-location command center.


• Continuously monitor well pressures, flow rates, pressure sensors, and overall equipment performance.


• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including greasing valves and changing chokes.


• Communicate effectively with company representatives, vendors, and other service providers on location.


• Work alongside the Smart Flow technology lead to support safe and efficient field operations.


• Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of the Smart Flow skid and trailer.


• Learn and understand the electrical components involved in equipment rig-up and operation.


• Maintain a safe work environment and actively promote the Deep Well Services safety culture.


• Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of oil and gas-related field experience.


• Previous flowback experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and rig up Smart Flow equipment.


• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and electrical skills.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a field team.


• Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record.


• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Schedule & Travel Requirements

This is a rotational field position with a typical schedule of 3 weeks on / 1 week off, or as work allows. Approximately 75% travel is required.

Work is primarily performed in a field environment, with occasional travel to the shop for equipment maintenance and testing.

Physical Requirements

The position requires frequent standing, walking, and reaching, with occasional sitting, handling/gripping, climbing, crawling, squatting, kneeling, and bending.

Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Push or pull up to 40 lbs.


• Perform physical work in a field environment.


• Frequently wear required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, protective clothing, and appropriate footwear.
