As an Installation and Maintenance Technician, you'll be at the forefront of smart home and commercial integration, playing a key role in building and maintaining state-of-the-art systems. You'll be hands-on with the latest technologies, from advanced control systems and immersive home theaters to intelligent lighting and robust security solutions. Your Impact:




  • Build the Backbone: Expertly install and maintain network infrastructures, ensuring reliable connectivity for all integrated systems.


  • Craft the Experience: Assemble, configure, and seamlessly integrate high-end electronic equipment, delivering exceptional performance.


  • Connect with Precision: Install, terminate, and meticulously test low voltage wiring, guaranteeing the flawless operation of complex systems.


  • Organize and Optimize: Wire equipment racks with clarity and efficiency, creating organized and maintainable system hubs.


  • Solve with Expertise: Tackle advanced troubleshooting challenges, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal system functionality.


  • Bring Visions to Life: Install and configure a diverse range of smart technologies, including control systems, whole-house audio, smart lighting, private theaters, shade control, access control, security, surveillance, networks, VoIP/telephone, 1 and equipment racks.


  • Collaborate and Educate: Work directly with clients in both residential and commercial settings, providing professional service and clear communication.


What You'll Bring:



  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and consistently meet strict client deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to excel in team environments and communicate clearly and professionally.

  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when project demands require.

  • A commitment to traveling to on-site job locations and potentially for manufacturer training opportunities.

  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and a strong work ethic to see projects through to completion.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in every aspect of your work.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with clients and team members.

  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.


Bonus Points If You Have:




  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with leading smart home systems like Control4, URC, and Lutron, along with Control4 and PCNA certifications.


  • 2-3+ years of experience in the A/V, alarm, or electrical industry.

  • Direct installation experience and knowledge of control systems, whole-house audio equipment, alarm systems, and networking principles.

  • The ability to interpret floorplans and various technical schematics with confidence.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting audio, video, and control system problems effectively.

  • A solid understanding of signal flow and professional audio components.

  • Strong PC and networking experience, including configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Experience working with high-tech residential systems and smart home technology.

  • Prior project management and/or leadership experience.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
