DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Shooting Star Casino team members will always deliver excellent guest service to our guests and fellow co-workers.

Maintains cleanliness in the dish room and kitchen areas by washing dishes, pots & pans, floors, etc. To provide a safe atmosphere and to ensure sanitation standards are being met for the restaurant and our guests. Maintains and organizes area for daily operations by filling dish machine and ordering proper chemicals.
• Washes dishes, utensils etc. and organizes them in proper areas.
• Washes floors in the kitchen, cooler, cleans grease traps and server areas.
• Ensure sanitation standards are met at all times.
• Maintains a safe environment for internal and external guests.
• Cleans hallways, storage areas.
• Removes garbage throughout the shift.
• Reports any malfunctions of improperly operating equipment to Supervisor.
• Restocks front line with clean dishware.

Listens and responds to guests concerns to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Refers guests to the appropriate department or function for issue resolution.
• Maintaining a safe environment for internal and external guests.

Maintains sanitation standards throughout the restaurant for daily operations.
• Clean and refill dish machine after each shift
• Maintain chemical levels in sinks, ordering and using proper chemicals.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
No minimum education or experience required. One month of experience is preferred.
Ongoing and continuing education may be required of certain compact and non-compact positions. This will be outlined upon hire by the specific department.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & DESIGNATIONS
Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal State Compact for Gaming.
Alcohol awareness, safe food handling.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Knowledge of information that relates to specific safety policies and procedures.
• Skills in operating all kitchen equipment.
• Skills of developing and maintaining a positive relationship with external and internal guests.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift up to 50 to 60 lbs.
• Ability to be self-motivated.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 8 hours.
• Ability to identify and carry out actions to achieve goals while considering possible risks to effectively develop long and short-range company objectives.
• Ability to follow procedures and give attention to detail.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Frequently loud to moderate noise level.
• Frequently warm temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to blood borne pathogens.
• Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, solutions and solvents.
• Occasional exposure to moderate concentration levels of tobacco smoke.
