Job Description - SMT Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced SMT Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

Analyzes production data
Monitor yields and assists with root cause analysis if the yield drops below target
Create Setups in Nexim
Perform basic SMT equipment maintenance
Perform visual inspection of PCB assemblies per IPC-A-610 using a microscope
Train new machine operators
Provide technical support on PCBA production equipment as needed
Advanced equipment maintenance (Fuji Head maintenance & PAM software) a plus.
Equipment troubleshooting using mechanical drawings and schematics
Train and mentor machine operators to ensure proper, safe and efficient equipment operation

Education

Associate’s degree in technical-related field and/or Military Electronics training OR prior Technician experience

Experience

At least 3 years of equipment technician experience (preferably in semiconductor or SMT manufacturing environment)
Strong mechanical and electronic knowledge/skills
Proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
