Job Overview We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surface mount technology and assembly processes, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The SMT Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs) while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Duties
Operate and monitor surface mount technology (SMT) equipment for PCB assembly.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
Follow manufacturing work instructions.
Perform soldering tasks with precision, adhering to IPC 610 standards.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and lubrication.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters effectively during assembly processes.
Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times.
Program and manage Pick and Place machine (PNP).
Set up, operate, and adjust SMT equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
Solder components to boards, with J-STD certification.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety regulations
Experience
Proven experience in manufacturing environments, specifically with PCB assembly.
Familiarity with surface mount technology and electrical wiring practices.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to machinery and assembly processes.
Previous experience in soldering and working with IPC 610 standards is highly desirable.

Monday-Thursday 2:20pm-10:50pm
Friday 1:20pm-9:50pm
***Must train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks (6am-2:30pm)
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or G.E.D
At least 2 years of experience with SMT Machines
Understands Soldering inspection criteria
Strong communication skills
IPC-610 Certification is a plus
