Our team brings together system architects, product innovators, and technologists who are passionate about shaping next\u2011generation DRAM solutions. We thrive on collaboration, curiosity, and solving complex design challenges that will define tomorrow\u2019s compute platforms.\n\nIn this role, you will help guide Micron\u2019s DRAM strategy for AI training and inference. You\u2019ll work closely with industry architects, researchers, and ecosystem partners to uncover bottlenecks, influence design choices, and define new product concepts. Inside Micron, you\u2019ll collaborate with leading R\u0026D, design, and product teams to turn ideas into solutions that move the industry forward.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Explore and analyze system architectures using modeling, simulation, and prototyping tools\n\n * Identify system bottlenecks with customers and partners and propose innovative solutions\n\n * Lead pathfinding efforts for architectures using LPDDR and DRAM module technologies\n\n * Define memory features that increase DRAM value in AI workloads\n\n * Mentor junior system architects and engineers\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering\n\n * 12+ years of engineering experience\n\n * Familiarity with LPDDR and/or DRAM module architectures\n\n * Understanding of memory hierarchy, controllers, PHY, and custom SoC/ASIC design\n\n * Experience with TSV, stacked packaging, or 3D packaging technologies\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Knowledge of memory subsystems in high\u2011performance computing\n\n * Exposure to HW/SW co\u2011optimization or regenerative AI frameworks\n\n * Experience participating in JEDEC or other specification\u2011setting activities\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSystems Design Engineering SMTS\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
