SOC Monitoring Desktop Engineer M/F/X Permanent position | Full-Time | Herndon, Virginia

What will your role be?
• Provide technical expertise to create, package, deploy, and report the progress for a security agent to approximately 4000 endpoint devices across two different active directory domains within North America. You will:
• Install Client agent, applications and packages
• Test Client agent, applications, packages and validate correct findings
• Troubleshoot installation and configuration of agents, applications, and packages
• Performance evaluations and documentation thereof
• Technical support of client agent and installations
• Support or troubleshoot activities related to packaging or deployments
• Escalate and facilitate advanced configuration activities with team specialists
• Document policies and procedures and facilitate hand over to Desktop Services.
• Participate in ongoing project meetings related to NA SOC Monitoring
• Create and Deliver Reports to the service manager of Systems Management and Monitoring

What skills and qualifications are we looking for? • Experience in Windows 10 Operating System and Windows 7 Operating System
• Experience in Software Installation patterns
• Experience in Troubleshooting techniques and processes
• Experience in TCP/IP and DNS
• Experience in Active Directory
• Have a basic Networking
